THE ASK
Fox Searchlight had been creating Oscar-worthy movies for 25 years. After being acquired by the Walt Disney Company, the newly-branded Searchlight Pictures was looking for a new digital voice and social refresh that better matched the beauty and boldness of their films.
THE WORK
I crafted strategy and led content creation to build an engaging social media presence for Searchlight Pictures – a place online for film lovers to connect, unite, and nerd out. Check out Searchlight’s Instagram feed here. Below you can see just a few of the pieces I helped concept and develop.
THE RESULTS
Average engagement rate on Facebook increased by 27% within the first month of the campaign. Increased page growth on Instagram from a monthly average of .57% to 2.64% for a total of 26,177 followers. Increased positive sentiment by 193% within the first month. 5.4 million fans reached throughout the campaign on all channels.
